I was hoping ozzy would take it by the way. Good kid, good gamer and he definitely played shit well to be where he's at so sucks but Cass made the right call, she wasn't hitting the end with out a challenge win here anyways and sarah is an easier beat.

Ozzy came off as desperate and lame when he was making pitches to me to boot Sarah. Cass was the one who really sold me with siding with them. Her pms had real credibility to them. That's just my pov on comparing Cass to Ozzy.

If I were a jury member my vote flow would probably go .... Cass.... Yul.... Sarah... last Rory.

And I like Rory, he was one of my first true allies in a pre-Stranded game I played back in the day, but I just think his m.o. this merge has been a big joke. He's become this weird "character" that I find off putting.

- Thu Aug 24, 2017 4:17:46 am #9762 The thing with Cass and myself personally is that, while I think she did have a solidly structured PM and wanted her tight with me come merge time if I made it I felt like she was giving a lot of the same stuff to other people where as Ozzy felt a little more genuine with what he was saying to me? It could differ person to person but I can see what your saying. Cass feels like more of a gamer to me, really smart regardless.

I would switch Sarah and Yul but that's just because of lack of communication with him, and the fact that Sarah I actually like outside of things here and sort of owe her for the raw deal I shot her way. Rory never met but I do not condone quitting in any capacity so he was just sort of there for the ride past that imo.

I really do hope Cass wins this out though, she would deserve it.

- Thu Aug 24, 2017 4:32:00 am #9783 Hmmmm.... thinking about Yul, the reality is, I created the original alliance of six way back when on Old School. Once it got rolling, I took a back set and let Rudy call the shots. The whole Yul was Rudy's beta/knight seemed pretty true to me because I saw it first hand at the beginning of the game. I had no problem with any of the old school tribe dynamics, I knew I was safe ahead of both Katie and Wigles, so I didn't mind Rudy calling the shots. Yul just seemed along for the ride. Nothing was going to change on that tribe. In the grand scheme of things, Rory or Cat? Who cares, really. It seemed like monumental choices at the time, but really not big deals looking back. Rudy is much more dynamic to talk to than Yul. I hate to say it, but Yul is something of an uncharismatic bore.

So, I do think Yul getting rid of Rudy was the only way he could squash that narrative. And Rudy isn't sore at him in the jury forum, and that's about the best betrayal you can do.

Them three being the final three makes a lot of sense because that's how survivor works right? All the threats kill each other and then bam final three, three goats.

I get I came off as sketchy later but in the beginning of my time on that tribe I was just trying to play nice and I got literally nothing besides a fake name, and everything you told me just became fact after that. Rudy is an amazing force of nature. Great ally to run scenarios with. Level headed and logical, but enjoyable to talk to. Keeps the paranoia up, which for me is the only to do well, so every possibility is covered. And he's such a big force, of course he's going to be "the leader." So, I loved being with him at the beginning of the game and if I made the merge, I definitely would have realigned with him. Once I was with Wigles and Katie on the blue tribe, I was like, oh shit, who do I hide behind now?

If it's the dreaded Sarah/Yul/Rory FTC it's a toss-up between who the jury finds the least objectionable. Sarah has a few friends but a lot of haters and Rory is the same. Yul being boring might be mistaken for strategic but it could go either way.

Rooting for a Cass win, it'll bring the total winners on Hestur to 50%.
