I don't think her move to stick with Andrea was smart, nor do I think idol-ing out Ozzy was. They were big moves but they put her in bad spots. With that said, hard to argue with immunity challenges; she won those and deserved them.

Let's recount what happened. I stuck with Andrea, knowing Rory was telling Ozzy about the vote, because Sarah was going to force a tie with us until the last minute. Then I won immunity and played my idol on Sarah. If I didn't win immunity, I would have played my idol on myself. I would have had to win the F4 immunity to win the game. It's the same situation, but the biggest threat and challenge competitor besides me is still there, and I have to face him too.

Here's what would have happened if I voted out Andrea with you: the same shit.

what was gonna happen in that tie anyway?

Dunno, but if no one switched their vote I would've gone to rocks. And yes, immunity would have helped me there. If I didn't have immunity I might have considered switching my vote. And then the same thing would happen at F5 and F4.

yul brings up a great point in his recent post about the few times he was seriously in danger to go home. People can make fun of him for his relationship with myself or even Rory, but can anyone else say they made a relationship with someone to the point where their allies fought HARD to keep him in the game? See the candice vote as well as F4 when Rory tied for him. What does this say about his social game and impact on others?

It's quite special, because it's indicative of a great social game. His connections proved to keep him in the game when it really mattered.

Vytas brings up a great point to my question though. Brenda's idol proved to be HIGHLY impactful on the game.

He didn't talk to you for like the first four rounds of the merge, he publicly revealed all the information surrounding the Candice boot, and he tried to throw the last pre-merge challenge. Maybe he did force a tie to keep you (for reasons beyond me), but don't act like he was loyal to you all game.

What vote was that? I was on board for the Wigles one and wasn't paranoid about it one bit. AFTER she left, you or Sarah never approached me about what next move could be made. So what did you approach me with? You randomly threw out Brenda's name... with no context. And Sarah never was never saying anything to me about who should go after Wigles and what we should do next. Cmon, Liliana, get real.

Okay, so your issue was that we just smoothed things over and pretended to not care that you had formed an alliance against us by extension?

After the Wigles vote there was no talk from either one of you about a plan on what we could do next. Cassandra manipulated the situation from early on. She had privately messaged me saying we could save Wigles and vote with Ozzy-Rory-Rudy-Yul, and I told her if she wants to do that "count me in." I was letting Liliana know this could happen. Before tribal, Cassandra told me it was a no go, and that we could do it next round. So yea, I had a backup option, and I got played by Cassandra. But had you and Liliana been more proactive and engaging with me at the time of the merge, I wouldn't have felt the need to go that route. Which brings me to a question for you Sarah. What WAS your strategy going into the merge? Cause if I was supposed to be aligned with you yet have no idea what it was, then that's kind of a problem right there.

i mean at this point kinda because Cass explained it all in one of the jury threads.

but also if you don't know it i wouldn't use it as an example of...anything, really, because that's not showing a whole lot of game awareness, to say "look at this vote that went down this way because of my social connections" when it's just...not a great example of that. it was a last minute switch.

Cass...sounds like she's taking credit for doing a lot of stuff alone, but when she's pushed she admits to doing things in partnerships and trios and the like. The Vytas vote was not just her, it was me and her. The Rudy vote was not just her, it was her and Oz. And she'll admit these things...but I wish she didn't need to be pressed on them to admit them.

Yea, he was emotionally charged about the Candice vote, but we still spoke every single round (including the first of the merge). I can't say I was 100% honest with the entire merge but I we did maintain our relationship the entire game.
