My answer's probably Natalie Anderson. During the game I felt some parallels to her seeking vengeance for Jeremy while I was seeking vengeance for Brenda. I think she had a great ability to telegraph to the minority a willingness to work with them, whether she was letting them in on every facet of the plan or just hinting that if they, for example, vote Reed this round, or vote Alec this round, their time will come eventually. At the same time, she had no illusions over which people she could beat, and--even when she could probably beat everyone--had "shields" in Jon and Keith and was able to convince people she couldn't.
The "stick to the plan" boot very much mirrored the Lil boot here. The plan was 3 Keith/Sarah, 3 Wes/Mia, and 3 whoever the minority would vote for. When you flipped it became 3 Keith/Sarah, 2 Wes/Mia, 4 Jon/Ozzy. Andrea and I both played the part of Nat here, except instead of telling Ozzy to play an idol we told Ozzy/Yul/Rudy literally last minute to switch to Lil. In that sense we were also sort of an Earl Cole during the Edgardo boot (creds again to Andrea for that comparison).
The idol play at F5 with Jacyln also resembled my play with Sarah, just without the iconic "did you vote for who I told you to?" because I didn't need to confirm. We both took the person in the minority, who otherwise would've gone home, and used their vote to idol out our closest ally (again, equally close to Andrea and even Brenda earlier, but at F5 Ozzy was definitely my closest).
I also just think she and I have a pretty similar worldview. Her confessional about Jon wanting a "perfect wedding" and talking about wine was hilarious to me, and nice blend of shit-talking with righteousness (insulting someone's privileged tendencies without outright calling them privileged). I think Natalie--as well as Sandra, Todd, Tyson, even Jeremy--used this kind of shit-talking strategically, insulting others with a tinge of justness so that a) the person you were talking to knew (or at least thought) you were on their side, and b) you were seen as honest (or "real") while also ethically sound. Natalie did this talking to Baylor. Personally I employed this the most when shit-talking Sarah with you. Truth be told, I did/do think she was/is an explosive personality and was meddling the whole time. But telling you this distracted from the fact that I was the one she was meddling with, ever since the Lil boot.
Overall, I think my game, or at least the flashiness of it, escalated throughout the season in much the same way hers did. I came in as someone who was HBIC in Faroe without knowing that "HBIC" was an acronym. I controlled every vote until I left, and I didn't realize I wasn't being subtle about it. Here, seeing that there were 24 people and remembering what the death of me was last game, I knew I had to wait a while to step out of the shadows. When Vytas and Andrea were being credited for moves I made in collaboration with them, I held my tongue, let their targets grow, and then took them out, gradually usurping everyone as the biggest threat--similar to the way Natalie had to bide her time to take out Jon, kept up relations with those on the outs, and kept a healthy balance of internalized and openly verbalized plans.
that is all thank you for your time :)
