With that latest round, we saw the game ramp up to a new level of cutthroat. Has that set the tone for this merge?

Hell fucking yes it has, but probably not in the way you're thinking. Sarah and Lil are actually upset with Ozzy and Wigles. Mia is upset that anything happened at all and that Ozzy didn't just get kicked out. Rudy and Yul are a little upset with Rory but mostly excited that Ashley is gone. Rory is a free agent and guilty as fuck. Which leaves Ozzy and Wigles unapologetic and everyone else, myself included, feeding into the aforementioned parties' frustration.

I can't speak for everyone else, but what I've done is fan the flames of Rudy and Yul against Rory, Sarah and Lil against Ozzy and Wigles, and even Andrea against Mia. Now, do I actually think that these people really want revenge? No, I think everyone is desperate for a name that's not them to come up during the merge, and a few people had knee-jerk reactions, which we've all tried to amplify into boot targets. So now it looks like Rory is a free agent, and Ozzy and Wigles are under fire.

Which has led Wigles to create this anti-Vytas/Sarah/Mia/Andrea/Brenda coup out of Ozzy, Yul, Rudy, Rory, and myself. I took the opportunity to tell Wigles, "You won't believe this, but VSMAB all think I'm with them! Let's downplay our relationship so we can get some intel!" More like so VSMAB don't find out that Wigles is giving me intel on the other side. She wants me to convince them (+ Lil, I assume) to split the votes 3-3 so that all of us can plow right in there. Honestly that wouldn't be too bad. If I can somehow make it seem like all their doing. I whittle down the pack a little, keep my intel on both sides...I don't know, it's probably a pipe dream. Not too bad to just get rid of Wigles now either, especially if the jury is starting, and maybe make it look like Rory flipped.

Meanwhile, Andrea's fucking in love with me now??? I love her too really. Andrea, if you're seeing this after the game, I lied about writing that confessional about you, but I really do love you.

Vytas is using his time-zone as an excuse to sit back this round. Brenda's trying to sit back but I've seen her online more than someone who's taking a backseat would be on. Mia is fucking gone, turning into a goat. Yul is alright, but he's trying to be my friend and shit and it's like, too late bucko we're merged this shit is all strategy now. Rudy is alright too, a lot less wordy. People are grouping both of them together with Ozzy, but I think more likely they're just waiting to get picked up by a bigger group. Sarah wanted to kiss and make up, but she also told Ozzy she wanted to, and I don't really buy it. Lil is like trying to be Sarah or something. Yup, that's everyone. Not one person on this tribe I didn't mention by name.

Alright, time for the Casst Assessment - Merge Edition:

Andrea - total sweetheart, had a lot of good non-game-related back-and-forths with her; we agree there is empathic energy between us; probably down to vote out Mia (maybe even Vytas) down the line; is trying to form personal connections with everyone and it might come back to bite her later om nom nom

Mia - fake as fuck; you can't just not reply to me for three days and then come back and tell me you love me, i've had enough bad experience dating to know that; might be down to vote out Andrea eventually; called a goat by Vytas

Vytas - smartest guy here; easy af to shoot the shit with, but he can sniff out bullshit a mile away; might be a little cautious of my relationship to Ozzy already, and is trying to bait me by talking about how much he likes him; has a knack for detecting when people are talking around something vs. being straight with him; Andrea said she wouldn't vote for him at FTC

Brenda - dope woman, has a really nice blend of strategy with convo while sprinkling micro-metaphors all over them; one of the biggest threats here, if not the biggest, but very reflectice of myself so i want to keep her in a while

Ozzy - my last real pregame connection, which I'm milking right now by talking strategy to him as though we're in the same position; trying to convince him that there's a path forward without the coup this round; he probably won't be convinced, but I'll be telling people not to split the votes so he doesn't have much of a choice

Wigles - lmfao!

Yul - very solid guy; I pointed out that other people called him gamebotty so that he'd attempt a more personal connection with me, and it seems to have worked; I'm telling him that I'm interested in the military but no way in hell I'm signing up for that death trap; probably just doing whatever Ozzy and Rudy want this round

Rudy - like Yul without the amiability; too tight-lipped for my tastes, even about past round bullshit; probably trying to finagle some kind of power play here but he's got nothing

Liliana - surprisingly open with me and putting effort into her PMs; maybe it's just the first time she's been real with me so I'm seeing another side to her; says she's just going with the majority this round but I'm sure she's snuggling up close to Sarah

Sarah - we kissed and made up but I don't believe her 100%; she said the same to Ozzy, probably wants to lie low and reforge connections this round; probably tight with Mia from pregame and wouldn't be surprised if Vytas was understating his relationship with her

Rory - clueless in a very cute way; I was a little unnerved by him saying he liked me through extension of Candice and Penner instead of just because we'd talked before; who fucking knows what he's doing, maybe he just won't vote

Few quick updates while I'm in this passenger seat:
- FUCKED up the challenge, if you couldn't tell. Oh well, gotta bring down that threat level somehow.
- Thought I had pinned the clue down to The White-Haired Girl, but didn't make any headway after that. Shared that info with Vytas, Andrea, and Ozzy.
- Everyone went into the merge thinking I'd be with them. Told Ozzy/Yul/Rudy/Kelly that my relationship with Tianguan 3.0 is such that I can play espionage, but not saboteur. They were all really understanding, even grateful, of that. On the other side I'm putting in a good word for Ozzy and a bad word for Kelly. Then going back and telling them that everyone is pretty set on Kelly and that I don't think a coup will work this round. But also telling them that it'll be more feasible next round without Kelly as a common enemy to unite them.
- Brenda has expressed interest in working with Ozzy next round, a line I've been trying to subtly cast every time someone asked what I thought of him. Was less subtle with her because I figured she saw me as her #2 at this point.

Kelly wanted to throw out Brenda's name as a "diversion boot" because she's worried she about the main group playing an idol. I told her to try Sarah or Lil instead, because Brenda shrugged it off last time. Really I directed her to them because they're more auxiliary than Tianguan 3.0 and it would cement their votes, while also not dissuading Brenda from working with Ozzy/Yul/Rudy next round.
